Description

A very good copy with the scarce original dust jacket. No Date. (1909). Rendered into English verse by Edward Fitzgerald. With 20 tipped-in colour plates with captioned tissue guards. Publisher's red cloth, extravagantly stamped in gilt decoration to the front board, gilt lettering, very good and bright having been protected by the dust jacket, now protected in a clear removable archival sleeve. Original plain endpapers. Contents clean and tight, neat gift inscription to the front free end paper, plates and text unmarked, captioned tissue guards to all plates. A very good copy of this superb edition, with the rare dust jacket.
