Description

An extensive run of this important entomological periodical from its inception in 1910 to 1964 comprising volumes 1-54, just missing volume 22. Various plates and folding maps, some coloured. Bound more or less uniformly in shades of brown cloth with gilt lettering to the spines, mostly dating to the mid-twentieth century, a few contemporary; generally in very good condition with a little rubbing and general wear, a few binding more worn, and some with fading to the spines, a few volumes a marked and several with a paper label to the front board. Contents clean and tight and generally unmarked, some volumes with the stamp and label of the Jealott's Hill Research Station Library to the front end papers only. Extensive early runs of this journal are particularly scarce.
